About IISC (Indian Institute of Science)
The Indian Institute of Science (IISc) was based in 1909 as a results of the joint efforts
of Jamsetji Nusserwanji Tata, the govt. of Asian nation, and therefore the maharajah
of Mysore. In 1886, Jamsetji Tata planned of a university of science which will work for
